1. AppEndix

AppEndix operates as an online art media generator and a social platform for artists. It is a hub for collaboration, sharing, and trading of ideas and inspiration.

We do this using artificial intelligence and algorithms to expose our users to relevant artworks, materials, interests and fellow artists, based on your preferences and other information submitted to the app, which then allows you to share content, ideas, and information, through the app, which can be used on mobile devices or via our website.

Each account has a unique URL.

The service is operated by AppEndix Collab, established in collaboration with Artez Institute of the Arts, Arnhem, The Netherlands, April 2020. (‘’we’’, ‘’our’’ or ‘’us’’)

4. Features.

We use the term ‘’Junk’’ referring to any post that shares an idea, creation, art work, thought, inspiration, or discarded work

Our Service allows you to trade Junk in an accessible way. You can find out more information about all our features here : http//;appendixfeatures.nl.

Our service exists to nurture unwanted creative ideas, share inspiration, and provide space for collaboration. Once you share Junk through the platform, you lose all authorship over this Junk. Do not share Junk in which you want accreditation for.

As a platform built around sharing, there is equal importance in sharing your own Junk, as using the Junk of other users. For this reason, to access all Junk uploaded by users, you must be both a ‘Junk giver’ as well as an ‘Junk taker’ This is important to ensure the input into the platform equals the output, and to ensure Junk are being refreshed and updated.

We want our Service to be a positive experience for our users and we ask that you honour the commitments you make to another user in respect of the Junk swap.

As a user of Appendix, you can take Junk to your virtual studio, once you have chosen a Junk post, you gain access to contact the original creator. This person does not have any obligation in corresponding with you. Any correspondence will not be monitored by us. Commentary or questions about the Junk may be aimed at the original user, but they have no obligation to stay connected to their own Junk after it is posted to the platform, and they have no right to any accreditation.

5. Your content

By agreeing to our Terms of Use you confirm that your Junk; images, sounds, text or any other information that you submit or create (“User Content”), are your own.

We do not take responsibility for people who post Junk that is copied, nor do we condone fraudulent behaviour. Our users should take responsibility for what they post and any fraudulent activity is not our responsibility.

We do not check or moderate any User Content before it is added to the Service by users. We may later check, moderate, reject, refuse or delete any User Content if we think that it breaks any of the Rules of Acceptable Use, or we believe it is against the ethos of Depop.

We encourage you to maintain your own backup of your User Content and not rely on the service for the purposes of User Content backup or storage. We have no liability for any loss of User Content.

6. External Parties

As we have links to different external sources outside the app, eg. Galleries, Collectors, exhibitions, events, we do not take responsibility for any of our users' interaction with these

parties. If you have made any agreement with external parties, the app has no responsibility to maintain/uphold these agreements to you (user) or any external party.

AppENDIX
is an online art media generator and social platform for artists.

It works as a hub for autonomous inspired artworks and collaborative artistic projects.
JUNKART

The app operates on an archive of Junk Art, which is a term that describes all artworks that are considered oddments in the creative process of the makers, these works can be (forgotten sketches, finished works that are of irrelevance or just works that don’t function in any sense but still occupy a space in the studio). The term junk art differs depending on the practice; film junk art, painting junk art, research junk art... etc. but the only common quality of all junk art on this platform is that it all loses authorship by its maker once it’s uploaded.
MAIN FEED PAGE:
